The location is good as it is close to many good restaurants. The room was extremely small, have never tried that you can’t even have a space to open the luggage on the floor. I had to use the bed. Someone has been opening and closing the doors very very loudly outside of the room everyday and it might be the cleaning personal, but I’m not sure. It was very loud, and woke us up every day.

TLDR: Be warned. I frequent Paris frequently, and wanted to try a new boutique hotel. Big mistake. I was faced with a hostile customer service at the front desk for incredibly reasonable questions and requests. Disappointed to see such poor service, but in hindsight, there were many glaring red flags from other reviews online. I strongly urge travelers to think twice before booking and consider any and all of the comparable options nearby.

Warmest of receptions. Given free espressos in their cafe as they quickly prepped our room for a free early check-in. Great bathtub (if you like that sort of thing). Fun part of town - long walking park immediately out front door. Generous breakfast (extra $) with a re-fill on coffee.

The hotel is a lovely boutique hotel. The front desk staff is excellent. Including Ryan who ensures he serenades the lobby everyday. He was very friendly, helpful and attentive to all our needs and questions. The spa is also well maintained and a nice warm up from cold days. Unfortunately they had an issue with their hot water but these things happen and they were trying their best to get the situation rectified when we were there. The staff also ensured that we were able to return safely when we left the hotel as we visited the time during the riots. A very special thank you again to Ryan to made the experience and enjoyable one, he’s truly a gem of a person.

If I could, I would have given zero. We had a serious family issue 2 days before coming (not possible anymore to come to Paris 😔) and I asked to find a reasonable solution for not paying the full cancellatIon fee: I proposed that by cancelling our stay, they could have resold the days and eventually if not all 5 nights, then we could have paid the difference: so no money loss for them (it’s Easter time in Paris, so zero issues in finding somebody last minutes…) for us a lower cancellation charge. Their simple answer was “NO, our general manager told us to charge you fully the cost”. Zero flexibility, customer orientation and empathy towards a family in big difficulties and proposing a reasonable solution at zero cost/effort for them. Congrats my friends, really well done! Really a modern approach!
